FRIDAY MADNESS!!!

For me, there is no other perfect time to unwind, have fun and talk to friends than Friday nights!  No matter how busy I get the whole week, I always look forward to this night.  Perhaps it's because I've got lots of good memories from it and the moment that turned my life around happened a year ago.

I was busy partying that night with a friend.  Going out to different bars just to unwind and chat.  I was brokenhearted and though I know alcohol won't solve anything, at least it would make me numb for a while.  I just want to shake off the sad feeling and have fun.  The angels must have heard me cuz not for long, as my friend and I are heading to another bar, we saw a bunch of loud and drunk people at the corner of the street.  It turned out that we knew them.  Then, they called us... 

They're not my usual beermates but I enjoyed that night.  They were fun to be with, not to mention the only person that I adore for years was there too!!!  But since my friend and I are not done yet with our bar hopping, we left them.  

My most favorite part was when the love-of-my-life-but-he-doesn't-know-it guy followed us in the bar. He sat beside me.  We cracked jokes and laughed like crazy.  That's the first time we're together like that.  

One moment I was watching the band, the next thing I know is that I felt his hand on mine.  I couldn't believe it when I turned to his direction and saw his fingers locked into mine.  I wanted to hold him but confusion got in the way.  I stared into his eyes then he joked around to divert my attention and let go of my hand.

God, I can't sleep that night!  So many questions popped into my head.  I ended up staring at the ceiling, smiling and rewinding the whole night.

Sometimes the slightest touch of a hand, a single stare or a soft whisper from the ones you love could mean so much to you.  I didn't know that night would change everything for both of us.  I've realized things and I took courage to follow my heart.  The next pages of my life has never been the same and I am happy for not holding back.  It's true, when you love someone, you've got to make them feel it... otherwise, you're left in the shadows building your what-ifs! Once you get a chance, take it!  Who knows where it leads to...  at least when you got older you could say "YOU'VE TRIED!"
